They sent a welcome packet to us prior to our trip filled with directions and information pertinent to our stay. They also have more information available in the condo such as restaurant recommendations, excursions, etc. The pool was magnificent overlooking the ocean and we also enjoyed long walks on the beach. We rarely saw anyone on our walks...we even got to rescue a few baby turtles! We enjoyed the hotel

restaurant and staff. The food was amazing and very inexpensive. It s just a short walk down the beach. Having groceries delivered prior to your stay would be a bonus. We used the shuttle at the hotel to go into Mazatlan for the day and also to get groceries at Walmart. The weather was in the low 80s which was a bonus for us coming in from snow in Seattle! We had a lovely honeymoon---thank you Dave and Bonni for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

A clean unit with all the necessary essentials!

Estrella Del Mar has become our go-to destination. This was our 5th trip to EDM and Mazatlan. The remote nature of the resort allows you to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Golden Zone - about a 30-minute shuttle provided by the resort to get there. David and Bonnie were wonderful to work with - very responsive as owners. And the property was a relaxing joy to

spend our 2 weeks. Highly recommend!

There are 2 televisions but to be honest it has been 10 days and we have not actually watched any TV. Getting into the condo on check in was very easy, and the owners have been easy to contact, answering all of our questions and offering helpful tips. The complex itself is very well maintained and clean. We see friendly maintenance and cleaning people working everyday to keep it that

way. We feel very safe here, on the beach and on the golf course. We walk for about an hour each day on the beach in front of the golf course, very beautiful! Also there are no peddlers at all on the beach. The golf course is also amazing! Lots of it right along the ocean. The golf course offers weekly and monthly memberships that make golf very affordable. We golf in the afternoon at around 230 and it is super quiet most days at that time so also very laid back. The staff at the golf course are also very friendly and helpful. We do most of our own cooking but have had a meal in the restaurant at the golf course and another in the restaurant in the hotel. Both were very tasty and reasonably priced. The only downside to EDM is that it is 30 minutes from Mazatlan but that isn t too big of a deal for us as the only reason we go there is for groceries. We could also go to Villa Union (15 minute) or Stone Island for most things. There is a well stocked, reasonably priced mobile fruit and vegetable truck and a fish truck that come each Wednesday afternoon if we are running low on things. EDM is perfect for us as we really enjoy the quiet beach and golf course.

Spacious condos well appointed and equipped with the necessities to feel like it was a second home versus a hotel suite Beautiful swimming pools in each phase with a short walk to the beach with over 2 miles of shoreline to walk (seeing 10 people on the beach would a high traffic day) While there, you can be as social as you want or as private as you want. Most

people there are owners and take pride in what they have at EDM and are quite friendly For golfers, as we are, the Robert Trent Jones designed course is a quality resort style course that can be enjoyed by all levels of golfers. If you are considering renting a Phase 2 condo we would highly recommend doing so with Bonni and David Canary. Over the years, they have been wonderful people in all of our dealings with them. They have been gracious hosts and very attentive to the details to make it a positive experience from arriving to your departure. ”

We were mesmerized by the nightly sunsets and the ocean view from the patio. The pool is fantastic with a huge jacuzzi as well. The golf course is right on the property and easy to get to. The restaurant at the golf course was excellent. Our hosts also provided a wonderful write up of many things to do and great restaurants in Mazatlan to try and we loved them. We

appreciated the specific instructions which were really helpful, especially to get to the boat ferry at the end of Stone Island. Its an easy short drive to get to the condo from the airport (10 minutes), and a short drive to Stone Island to the ferry (about 15 minutes). The grocery store is a little farther away but not bad (20 minutes). We did go at a very quiet time of year at the resort after most of the folks wintering in Mazatlan had left. The resort was very quiet and there were not many people there. But that was just fine with us We hope to come back and highly recommend this unit and the hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay at EDM. Beautiful pool and nearly private beaches. We are not golfers but I can see why golfers would love this location, too. Condo is beautifully furnished and well-equipped. We are coming back!
